Fantastic MODERN style Christian worship services along with talented musicians and vocalists, with sermons that are biblically based but applied to current every day life. Children's ministry (including middle school) allows for adults to worship without playing babysitter during the service, thus maximizing your use of that time at church.

I love St. John!!! Right when you walk in the doors you feel very welcomed. I have been going to school here ever sense preschool. It is a great Lutheran based school. I have great teachers and have learned a lot from them. I am sad to be leaving in the next year and wish I could stay here forever. Our middle school does this thing called house groups. The HOUSE System is designed for St. John Middle School students to gain a sense of community and accountability. This is accomplished through mixed grade level groups (Houses) which consist of students in grades 5 – 8 led by adult mentors. In order to reinforce doing the right thing, students are awarded points for their House through positive actions. Examples can include serving in Wednesday worship, assisting a classmate or picking up trash. House groups take pride in the points their group earns and expect their members to value making positive decisions and contributions. In addition, the House model also reinforces the leadership development and spiritual growth aspects of our school’s Core Values. Students within each House engage in a variety of activities ranging from student-led devotions to team-building exercises. As a result, students deepen their commitment to their Savior, school and one another. I think you should try to come to one of our services on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:00. If you can not make it on Sunday we have a church service on Saturday night at 5:00.

St. John is very welcoming. The soloists add so much to the services--you can feel their commitment to Jesus. Sometimes I wish the congregation could experience the beauty of the stained glass windows.
