The owner is a great guy
The owner and and son (Drew) are great people. They are very knowledgeable about everything in they carry and they made me feel comfortable and confident that I was buying the right items. I bought two bikes, two helmets, trailer hitch, trailer bike rack and some other items. I never once felt any form of salesmanship. Just knowledge and respect for customers.
Everyone has a bad day, but I cannot imagine that those negative reviews are true. Also, if you notice, they are all anonymous "Google User". This leads me to believe they could be the competition or just nasty people.
Had a great buying experience when shopping for a bike for my 10-year-old. They helped us find the right fit both in size and style and are so very friendly. They educated us on bikes, helmets and safety and We will definitely be back!
I called to see if they could assemble a bicycle that I had not purchased from them. The owner was very helpful on the phone and when I brought the bicycle in. Also, I called back the next day to have him install tire liners, and he was also very nice, and his price was right in line with the price from Amazon. I am a recreational bike rider, a novice, and the owner made me feel very comfortable. I visited two other shops before going to West County Cycles. The first shop in Des Peres had two young guys that were helpful, but it was further away, and the shop closest to me (Town & Country) wanted about 2x as much money for the same service.
I would recommend them to anyone. I drove over 40 minutes to check this place out and I'll continue to make this drive for my bicycle needs.
